Project Overview
Pleasant View Pointe is a 20-lot single-family residential neighborhood located along Pleasant View Road and Peaceful Lane in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Rachel Development worked closely with the City of Chanhassen and Charles Cudd Co. to thoughtfully plan the approximately 13.65-acre property for low-density residential use. The development process included neighborhood engagement, preliminary and final plat approvals, wetland considerations, roadway planning, stormwater management and coordination with future public infrastructure improvements.
The final neighborhood design connects Nez Perce Drive to Peaceful Lane, creating an integrated street network while providing 20 distinctive homesites. Particular attention was given to the site’s existing natural characteristics, including a historic wetland area on the northern portion of the property. The stormwater plan incorporates a constructed wetland treatment system designed to manage development runoff while also accommodating future improvements along Pleasant View Road.
Pleasant View Pointe reflects Rachel Development’s approach of working collaboratively with municipalities, surrounding property owners, consultants and builder partners to create neighborhoods that respond to both the land and the surrounding community.
